Affirmative Action Office

The Affirmative Action Office provides leadership to the campus community concerning matters of equity, affirmative action, prejudice reduction and multiculturalism.

The Office enforces the prohibition of discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital, citizenship status or status as a special disabled veteran, recently separated veteran, Vietnam era veteran, or any other veteran who served on active duty during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized (except in those special circumstances permitted or mandated by law).

It is committed to the recruitment, hiring and promotion of women, racial/ethnic minorities and persons with disabilities and endeavors to promote a campus-wide knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of affirmative action and multiculturalism.
