From Addict to Advocate – RIC Student Holly Cekala

Cekala manages three Anchor Recovery Community Centers and is a consistent presence at the State House, advocating for those in recovery. She also engages in chemical dependency research with Professor of Psychology Robin Montvilo. “I found my calling, or it found me, through my own addiction,” Cekala said.
