Attention: Changes to the Monthly Payroll Process
To gather the information required to comply with the reporting requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) the college is revising the forms used for the monthly payroll process.
The ACA requires hourly time reporting for employees. Beginning with the first payroll in January the college is requiring that supervising managers submit the appropriate Monthly Hiring Authorization Form for each of their monthly temporary employees.
Each manager is required to submit to payroll the Monthly Payroll Timesheet (see below) for all their monthly employees for each monthly paycheck. The ACA requires this hourly reporting to determine eligibility for health care benefits.
